Cuisine of Venezuela

The Venezuelan cuisine is very diverse, and is derived from the mixture of foods in Europe (Spain, Italy and France) and Indians, as their ethnicity. Perhaps the most famous dish is the arepa, which is mainly used to accompany other dishes or stuffed with other foods. Other dishes are also well-known pavilion Creole, the hallaca, sancocho, the grill, beans, pastiche, and pasta (although the latter three are due to the influence of Spanish and Italian immigrants, respectively).

Center: Diversity food for being in the center of the productive areas and the lack of major agricultural regions, consumption of chicken, meat, stewed or roasted fish, rice, pasta, salads and much influence in international gastronomy. Trend Spanish, Italian and other European influence.
Llanos: Dining areas like llaneras or pampeanas Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, consumption of beef and game animals (deer, chiga ire, lapa, morrocoy, etc.). In grills, roasts and beef stick, use of corn cachapas in large production of cheese and dairy.
Andes: Food-related Colombian Andes, the use of potatoes, wheat, root crops and beef, lamb, chicken, little fish except trout cultivated guidance typically European and South American Andean region.
